• Avoid eating white sugar at any cost.
• Practice portion control and never overeat or binge eat at one meal.
• Avoid grabbing for comfort foods to make yourself feel better whenever you feel upset or stressed.
• Drink your coffee black or buy caffeine pills to keep you going and then wear water.
• Beware of adding extra fat to smoothies in the form of powders made with whey protein, whipped cream, high fat milk or ice cream.
• Dilute fruit juices to avoid blood sugar spikes that can make it difficult to stick to a diet.

There is no clear answer to the question of how much exercise you will have to participate in to personally lose 5 lbs in two weeks as each of us is different. A lot of it has to do with your build, your metabolism, your stamina and your general health. A person would be required to workout long enough to burn off 17,500 calories.
